A half day trip today and the snappers were active. It kept the fishermen busy and almost wore them out. Mostly yellowtails today with a few muttons.
A cold front is on the way. Hoping for some good sail fishing.
We had a couple of good days on the water. The weak cold front was disappointing as all it gave us was a lot of wind.
The snapper action has remained good.
We had a good weekend fishing. It was rough and windy. We fished mostly in 25 feet of water.
Did really well on Mutton snapper, mangrove snappers and yellowtail snappers using ballyhoo cut bait and live cigar minnows.
Great fishing in Islamorada. Things are heating up. We have seen some sails and king mackerel.
We caught some cobia and king mackerel offshore around the deeper wrecks.
The snapper fishing has been great especially yellowtails
The last few days have been great
