As happens so often in the game of Offshore Fishing things change and a Charter Captain worth his salt must adjust and be prepared for everything. The Tuna bite has changed somewhat and the all out blitzes of bigger fish has turned into a lot of little fish to sort through to get to the bigger fish. Also a few new game changers have entered the fray, That’s Right has had a few shots this past week at some Big Eye Tuna unfortunately when your primary target is yellowfin tuna in the 75 to 80lb class and big eye of 250plus pounds decide to show up you can quickly be out gunned on 100lb leaders. This happened yesterday and we came unbuttoned on two nice Big Eye.

But sometimes preparation and experience come together and some great things happen. Earlier in the week we fought a big Blue to the boat and missed the release. Yesterday a nice blue in the 300lb range had lunch and after a nice battle came to the boat and we were able to get a nice jump on video. Fishing has changed slightly but continues to be very successful for the That’s Right out of Ocean City Maryland
