Reports Striped bass fishing has been very good with many keepers along with a lot of action on
the shorts for releases also. The rockfish have been taking mostly live bait
with some fish falling to plugs. Capt. Jason has had great luck in and around the
Inlet and back bays around Ocean City Maryland and Assateuge Island.
This Striped bass fishery is a year round oppurtunity to do battle with these back bay brawlers,
these fish give kids a great fighting experience and the oppurtunity
to catch nice size fish in the backwaters.
His tally of summer flounder catches has been impressive 30 to 40 in a four hour trip most released but some quality fish mixed in as well. Capt Jason has the back bay dialed in whether its around Assateuge or Ocean city from the inlets to the intercoastal. Jason implements live bait tactics, jigs and cut bait to target the most popular fish in the northeast.
Jason had his favorite type of charters this week, Families with kids. Kids and fishing are a special duo and there is nothing like a big smile to make the day. It takes a special type to be succesful with the youngsters. Capt needs to have the patiance of a saint, be able to entertain, have a teachers mentalitity and most important knowledge to find the fish Jason has it all.
